Little Sweetheart released in 2021 and re-released in 2024 is my personal memoire of being groomed and abused by my dance teacher from age 12-13 years old. This book offers healing ad education for those who have been abused and for those who want to learn more about protecting the little ones in their life from abuse. This book can teach you how to heal and how to spot a predator and prevent abuse before it happens. This book is avail in paperback, kindle and audio format.
My second book Learning to be Loved, is a lovely book about a sad and sometimes scary topic. It Chronicles the journey my adopted daughter and I took from the horrors of severe early trauma, to oppositional defiant disorder and finally to healing and love. I love her so dearly and I am so proud of the adult woman she has become. This book is for parents looking for hope and inspiration and is available on Kindle or in full color paperback.
Our Story
Above is the real life photo of my daughter and I. She was severely abused and neglected in a Russian orphanage before I adopted her at age two. Our journey had a lot of uphill battles in the beginning, but teaching her love and loving limits helped us grow together and form the warm and loving bond we both had always longed for. She is all grown up now and decided she is ready to tell her story along with mine. Our hope is that it helps other foster and adoptive families keep hope and get the help they need if their placement and dreams are not going according to their plans.
